The Barely Debatable List Of the Top Ten Worst Holiday Songs

In a season of joy, there is nothing worse than bad music. I would rather get socks and a Walgreen's gift card than listen to bad holiday music. So in the spirit of the season, here are my Top Ten Worst Christmas/Holiday Songs Of All Time. Feel free to disagree, but deep down, you know I've pretty much nailed this.

The Somewhat Debatable Top Ten Christmas Songs Of All Time

The title pretty much sums this piece up. December is a time for two things: Lists and non-stop Christmas music. For your convenience I have combined the two in my Definitive List of the Top Ten Christmas Songs. Ever. It is likely that you will disagree with every song on this list, and that's okay...enjoy your holiday season anyway!

We live in an age where basically nothing seems possible and the dream has become ironic, but that's okay because irony is a language Fagen has always spoken fluently.

Classic Front-to-Back Albums: The Saw Doctors - Same Oul Town

Often wrongly cubbyholed as uni-dimensional purveyors of Paddyrock, the Saw Doctors did not shy away from embracing their roots while drawing deeply from the wells of US FM rock and early UK punk. The Saw Doctors did for the west of Ireland what Bruce Springsteen did for the post-War Jersey Shore and what John Mellencamp did for life growing up amid the cornstalks and Dairy Queens of Indiana. Like Springsteen and Mellencamp, The Saw Doctors tell tales of everyday lives set in a particular time and place but still easily identifiable to the listener regardless of locational circumstance.
