Sad news today on the passing of Sir George Martin. Sad because he touched all of us – regardless of musical affiliation – on an incredibly deep level. No matter your age, you are well aware of the work of the man. The sounds and arrangements George Martin created hand-in-hand with the Beatles and all of the other artists he worked with will have an everlasting impact on music, and therefore the world, and will be remembered long after today is long forgotten.
Having the privilege of working in the industry we work in, all of us at KEF have in some way been touched by the sounds Mr. Martin created in our pursuit of perfection. Perfection in the reproduction of music and the vision and genius that creates it.
We thank you George Martin for your own pursuit of vision and perfection – for the joy you brought us and for creating a path for us to follow.
