Throughout the 1990s KEF continued to design class leading, innovative products from the budget Coda 7 to the incredibleRDM2 Reference Series Model 109, while the introduction of the first Q Series helped KEF maintain a strong presence in the critical mid-priced speaker market. The 1990s also saw the rise of home theatre and multi-channel music with the subwoofer/satellite format coming to prominence. KEF was at the heart of this development with ground-breaking products such as the Model 100 center speaker.
